I had an idea in my head for this shoot and I'm sure it would have happened had I not brought my "afraid to let go of my pant leg" toddler with me who I think scared little A into not wanting her picture taken. So, lesson learned and we are going to try again this weekend. Lukily for me these are very good friends of ours and I can bug Sarah anytime I want to work on my photography skills :) I did manage to get a few, so here's a sneak peak for her!
I had such a wonderful time chatting with this beautiful little girl's mom. We think Baby M. just wasn't feeling too well today and wasn't in the mood to make her portrait debut. Sometimes that happens and I've learned to be very patient and flexible with newborns. But, she has the cutest nursery and I can't wait to go back for a reshoot next week to capture some lifestyle portraits of her!
I am honored to be a Navy wife and mother to our two sons, Logan and Brayden. I'm sure you will be seeing them on many posts, as they are always a willing subject of mine. :)
Here on my blog you'll find sneak peeks, an occasional tutorial, and some honesty from me. Photography is my outlet. Without it I think I would be swallowed up. I love supporting my husband through his Navy career, but like I'm sure a lot of spouses feel, I am not defined by his career status. I have my own passion, my own career goals, and dreams to aspire to. Hopefully you'll be able to watch me achieve them here! And please feel free to join in on the conversation!
